hey, that was pretty fun! i don't know if i'd call it a finished product, but i really enjoyed it, and that's a whole lot more than i can say for most of the stuff on NG. great work, i can honestly say i look forward to your future works!

what's the point of spending this much time making a game if you don't even proofread your text? the intro had a typo. now, i'm going to assume that you spent hours upon hours upon hours making this (slow moving, and hard to get interested in game), so maybe fix it up a little. sorry, i just couldn't get interested, because the interface looked like shit, and you quite simply spelled words incorrectly in an intro that just wasn't funny.
ugh.
you have THE single most irritating, and not-funny voice in the history.... of ever. listening to you pretend to be funny while playing a game theme that you didn't make up was not entertaining. sorry.

What is there to say?
Absolutely amazing. Everything that we could have wanted from a flash game. It most certainly is not easy to win (a long-needed trait), and, its balanced enough that if you make your moves right, you stand a good chance of winning. the art was great, the strategy was great, the gameplay was beautifully balanced. this took some time to make, and it was time well spent. i'm in awe. 10's and 5's all around.

this was fairly well done!! the questions progressed at a reasonable rate, and it was challenging and informative.. i only played it on the hardest level, so i don't know, maybe the other ones are ridiculously easy.. but nevertheless, good job. i liked it.

i was just about to praise this...
then i realized that you didn't create your own idea, obviously hurried when making this because the graphics SUCK, and used the FUCKING CANADIAN ANTHEM at the end? what the hell? i know you're trying to rush this out because of the current world events, but the art was horrible, choppy, and embarrasing to watch. secondly, yes, you used the 'hunt the wumpus' idea. it wasn't yours. that doesn't mean that you stole it, but it means that you're not very creative. the audio was choppy, and glaringly showed that this needed time and work. for instance... what the hell did the pilot say, "little bunny foo foo, this is inspector *breaks up*" it was a fine idea, and MUCH better than most of the crap on the portal, but come on. don't try to fool us with already used ideas. if you had used the 'wumpus' idea, and had great art and sound, you might have something going for you, but as it is, its just a waste of the real talent that i've seen you display before.... overall, a disappointing, (and rushed!!) showing.

this was just too easy. i played it once and only got hit once. i know its just beta or whatever, but it was wayyyy too easy. what makes a flash game addictive is replay-ability. (i.e. "pol") it was a great game, and definitely deserving of daily feature, but... i dunno, i just have come to expect more. maybe i'm just dying to see pico 2. :-D the pencil sketch thing was creative and a good twist, but it kinda distracted from the plot. my only real suggestion i suppose is to make the movements of enemies more complicated. you could figure out the pattern and plan of attack within 10 seconds for each boss. but anyway, i love your work and i appreciate you, but i'm too excited for pico 2 to enjoy this game repeatedly.

that's a boss? i hardly enjoy killing something that innocuous. if he was actually a boss type figure that pissed people off it might be enjoyable.
