Sorry, but there wasn't a joke in this movie. The fact that you and your kid buddies find the theme funny means nothing. Newgrounds should have proven to you that inside jokes aren't worth anyone's time. You collected various McD's/hamburger images, got an irritating song, and had Stallone "dancing" off to the side.

Its just not really worth anyone's time, including yours.

I've been around NG for 5 years, so trust me, I get all the "references" in there, including Eskimo Bob. Its just nothing new, funny, or worth it.

I just fail to see how he's "The People's Mario". The only vaguely communistic thing about it was the music. So..... I'm not sure what to say. It was fun to watch, but it's almost like you missed your own point.

Basically, its a collection of everything that's NOT funny about the anime genre set to your own non-unique style. I guess it was kinda funny, but nothing original. I could name 10 other NG artists who do this same gig, and do it better.

I follow the symbolism, but its still really whiney. And yes, I get it, I get it... the golden rabbit destroying his hands is something about his creation destroying his ability to create..

That said, its still a really selfish message. Sure, the majority of people go for what's popular, snappy, etc... But why do you true "artists" want their affection in the first place?

Anyway, good flash project, it could use some touching up, but I'm sure its a relief to have it completed, because its quite a work. I disagree with your premise, but its well done.

The humor of the movie was plainly taken from South Park.
Although it was good, and I gave it high marks, there was nothing truly YOURS here. So I guess "nice spoof" is what I'm saying.
